Terms of Service

By accessing or using Park Patrol (the “Service”), including the worker app, admin dashboard, public status pages, or the /try preview tool, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a municipality or other organization (“Town”), you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on that Town's behalf. Where a separate Services Agreement exists between Boni and the Town, that agreement governs the commercial relationship, and these Terms apply to general use of the Service.

Park Patrol is a shift-tracking and inspection-logging tool that allows Town staff to record activities performed during parks and facilities inspection rounds, and allows Town administrators to schedule, review, and report on that activity.

Important scope limitation: Park Patrol records shift activity as reported by Town staff. It does not independently verify the condition of any facility, equipment, or park, and it is not a substitute for a Town's own incident reporting, safety inspection, or emergency response procedures. Towns remain solely responsible for maintaining and following their own incident reporting and safety protocols.

Public-facing status pages display information provided by a Town for general reference only. This information is not a guarantee of current park, facility, or field conditions, and should not be relied upon as such. Users should exercise their own judgment and, where relevant, contact the Town directly to confirm current conditions before relying on the information shown.

Town administrators are responsible for managing staff accounts, access levels, and credentials within their organization. Boni is not responsible for a Town's internal management of who has access to its account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another Town's data or account
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the Service's underlying source code

Boni retains all ownership of the Park Patrol software, platform, and branding. Each Town retains ownership of the data it enters and generates through the Service (“Town Data”). Boni's use of Town Data is limited to providing and improving the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable Services Agreement.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Boni does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boni's total liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the total fees paid by the applicable Town to Boni in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event will Boni be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

A specific Services Agreement with a Town may set out different or additional liability terms, which will govern in the event of a conflict with this section.

Boni may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms. A Town may discontinue use of the Service at any time; any specific notice or wind-down terms will be set out in the applicable Services Agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Boni may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
